What does the marked "Metal Central Differential (Non-differential)" mean for JJRC C8832 RC car?

JJRC C8832 RC Car
This marking is quite misleading. JJRC C8832 RC car is actually equipped with an all-metal central solid shaft rather than a conventional differential. The phrase "non-differential" means the power of front and rear axles is fully locked and evenly distributed at a 1:1 ratio.
Advantages: It achieves nearly lossless power transmission and strong starting explosive power. It performs much better in wheelies and slope jumps than same-price models fitted with central differentials, perfectly tuned for high-power casual fun driving.
Disadvantages: The front and rear wheels cannot run at different speeds while cornering, which easily causes understeer with a large turning radius. Hence it is not ideal for drifting and track racing.
If you want to enjoy drifting or precise control later, you can buy a complete functional central differential assembly for non-destructive replacement.
